Smile 27/100 Lavender

One of my favorite things is happy blooming lavender. It has so many awesome uses and it makes the little bees so happy when it is bloooming. This bunch was along one of my walks today.

My lavender died this winter...both of them, that I had in pots. I need to put some in the ground so it will not be as much of an issue in the future. We have a spot in the front that would be perfect for some.

I took this picture in the morning sun, with my Fuji Finepix f50 with no flash but with the macro turned on. I edited it in GIMP 2.6 for color and light and then added the fuzzy border.
