Severe Weather Alert

It is currently 94 degrees out but the heat index makes it feel like 100. We have about 50% humidity (which actually seems low to me but perhaps it is because of the heat).

This is what I have to look forward to for the rest of the night (and being that this kind of thing invariably means power outages...I better find something to occupy my time...haha).

...RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS LATE TODAY AND EARLY TONIGHT...

HOT HUMID AIR AND LOWERING ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE WITH A COLD FRONT APPROACHING FROM THE WEST WILL MAKE CONDITIONS FAVORABLE FOR STRONG THUNDERSTORMS LATE TODAY AND EARLY TONIGHT OVER CENTRAL ****** *******.

A FEW OF THESE STORMS MAY REACH SEVERE INTENSITY WITH THE PRIMARY THREAT BEING DAMAGING WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THERE IS ALSO A POSSIBILITY OF LARGE HAIL GREATER THAN THE SIZE OF PENNIES.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM ARE POSSIBLE BEFORE 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON. BUT THE GREATER CHANCES FOR LINE OF STORMS WILL COME AFTER 4 PM AND INTO THE EVENING HOURS. THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD MOVE FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS ****** AND MAY LAST AS LONG AS MIDNIGHT.

Currently it is around 5pm and we are getting increased clouds...hopefully it will be a rocking storm or nothing at all, I hate the half assed ones.
