Smile 79/100 Mountain Blooms

These little guys were blooming along the path when we were at the national park. So pretty and obviously very hardy or they would not be able to survive the harsh temps.

There were bunches of them all over the ground where the trees weren't blocking the sun.

Of course I had to stop for a macro shot of them. I took this picture with my Fuji Finepix f50 with no flash but macro enabled. I edited it in GIMP 2.6 for color, and light balance and then added teh black fuzzy border.
