Smile 66/100 Dwarf Poppy

Saw this little poppy in a neighbor's yard. It looks like a Chinese red poppy but it is the size of the California poppies we see all over town. It was in a kind of wild area of the year and have to wonder if it was a part of a wildflower mix or something.

We have a couple of Chinese poppies that grow in our backyard (which I need to get seeds from), but they are the full sized ones and a bit deeper red.

I took this picture in morning light with my Fuji Finepix f50 with no flash but with the macro turned on. I edited it in GIMP 2.6 for color and light and then added the fuzzy border.
