Here are a couple of pics of the things we added to the backyard to make it so she couldn't get out. As you can see, we already have pretty tall walls...we just needed to "gate" off the one big opening and then add some height to another spot...so far it seems to be working great.
She enjoys being out there and I am loving having a litter box free house for the first time in 8 years!!!! When we lived in WA, the litter box was in the garage which was tolerable but for the last 8 years, we have had to have it somewhere in the house and now I don't.
It is great!!!

Cute! In your picture because of the reflection of your glass it looks like that is a small pond with an island of plants in the middle of it.
I bet J's allergies will be less annoying too!
She still needs lots of pets though!
Is your backyard all water?
Does Chase still spend time inside the house?
Jo- there is a pond in the backyard with an island with plants on it....
Sour- yes she comes in to eat and to hang out when we are home but she is outside at night and when we aren't home and whenever she wants to be out there any other times...
