30% chance of rain, my @ss...it just came down in buckets for a couple of hours a while ago. We had an amazing lightening storm. A tree across the street was hit and I have never heard lightening like that. It seriously sounded like an explosion. Then after that hit, it just lit up all over the place for like 1/2 an hour straight and the thunder was so loud and surrounding. It was one of the best storms I have seen/heard.
Guess I don't have to water except for my stuff that is covered outside.

I love watching lightning storms :)
Ian- This one was pretty awesome...the sky was just cracking all over the place and when that tree across the street was hit, it sounded like something exploding.
It can't decide what it wants to do here. But it is stifling hot. Ugh!
Ooh, that sounds scary. I have always been terrified of storms like that. My mother says it's because, as a child, I spoke like an adult even when I was very young. So when I asked my parents to explain storms, my dad thought I would 'get' a lecture on electrical currents. Instead, he completely freaked me out.
TGD- Ours was exactly the opposite. Our dad always made it so cool to go outside and watch and I think both me and my sister are hooked on storms because of it. Many a summer as kids we spent sitting in the backyard looking at dry lightening.
I just want to know how the kitty is...she was pretty traumatized the last time.
Glad you didn't get zapped. That must have been a treat, as much as you like storms. I like mild ones but the big'uns scare the pants off me!
FMS-It was nice that it wasn't in my yard this time...
