Length Issues

I finally just watched the Aviator, which I have had from Netflix for some time now. I just couldn't find 3 hours in the evening when I could sit down and watch it. It seems like movies of this length are becoming a trend and finding the time to watch them is hard for me to do (especially in summer when it is light out late).

I guess that it is good that I can have three movies from them because the other two were getting watched and returned pretty regularly but finding those 3 hours was just too hard. At least now, I am done with it and can return it today....let's hope I don't get another marathon movie anytime soon.

That's one thing I like about Tivo - it picks up right where I left off. I recently watched Thirteen, but it was hard to get through in one sitting. I watched it in four or five parts.

So what did you think of the movie? I haven't taken the time to watch it either. Although Cate Blancette is one of my favorites and she's playing my heroinne, so I might have to sit through it for that. (pardon my spelling. I am brain dead today)

I wasn't that impressed with the movie. I didn't really care about Howard Hughes.

Thought the movie was interesting because I didn't know much about Howard Hughes, found that I didn't like Cate's version of Katherine, she seemed like she was trying to do her voice too much.

Did not know that HH had so many problems...feel sorry for him because we really didn't know much about that kind of stuff in those days. He must have thought he was just going crazy.

I think I rated it 3 stars on Netflix (I liked it) but I wouldn't rent it again.
