You know when things are getting out of control when you will pay more (it was only a 6 dollar difference) for a plane ticket to avoid connecting in an airport named after someone you don't like. I know it is silly but I just couldn't make myself connect there.
Ends up, I didn't have to pay more. After Travelocity, Expedia and Hotwire couldn't give me the flights I was looking for, I went directly to the airline, and ended up with the flight and seats that I wanted and 5 bucks cheaper because I didn't go through a "travel agent"...I might have to try this again sometime.

Was the airport named "Reagan"?
No, and actually I don't mind Reagan that much as a person but I don't think he was world's greatest president like some do. It seemed like to me, he was mostly a puppet.
Was it JFK?
No, I actually liked JFK, although he was done being president by the time I was born...
Yeah, I do the same thing--travel agents blow.

I was surprised actually that I could get the same or better price from the airline because usually the websites have the "internet" deals...but this time it worked out and I am happy with my flight...more miles for me....hehe
Ok, we're obviously playing Guess The Dude. Hmm, ok, clue - was he a President? :)
Is President....
President Schwarzenegger? Oh wait, I'm thinking of next year :)
HAhahaha! I understand... I've changed my routing because I didn't like a city - even though I was only going to be in the airport!
Ian- Don't even joke about that...
Dave-Yeah, I am a bit picky on the airline, and the airport because if I have been on/in either enough, I know which to avoid to make the trip more comfortable.
I hate that many airlines are not serving food (just makes me have to pack more in my carryon), and I know which have old planes with uncomfortable seats.
Continental is currently my fav for crossing the US (good seats, some food, nice service). If I am just going up and down the west coast, I stick with Alaska Airlines if I can. Internationally, I love ANA (All Nippon Airways).
Ok I should have guessed George Bush the first time.
Actually I didn't know the airport was named after him at first, it was just a guess and I think the name only happened recently because I don't remember it being called that before...oh well, just another reason to avoid Texas..right? Unless of course we are visiting SPI...
I also got my flight to California $5 cheaper by going directly through Alaska instead of the other internet sights. The only reason I would go to George Bush's airport is to use the restroom while I was there ;)
