Back Strain

I managed to strain a muscle in my lower back doing absolutely nothing yesterday, and then stilll went out dancing with the girls. Needless to say, it is not healed by this morning, so I will probably not be online much in the next day or so because I want rest it up so I can get back to things I really need to do (like filing, taxes, computer cleanup, work on our wireless network, yardwork, exercising...etc), and sitting seems to hurt more than any other position.

So I guess it will be movies and motrin for a day or so and we'll see how things stand tomorrow or the next day. Have fun in blogging world.....

Thanks guys....trying to rest but I have sh1t to do so I haven't been deligent but it does seem to feel better have I have been moving around. It is the getting stiff part that is hurting, which confirms for me that it is just a muscle thing and nothing to worry about too much.

Did watch three DVDs on my back yesterday though...so not all bad and I am avoiding any heavy lifting...haha.

Hope this is not a delayed reaction to your fall from the other day. Heat and Cold compresses and couch and movies should do the trick - feel better sweetie!

No delayed reaction...just sitting in a bad position for too long the other day. It is getting better.

Don't sit for too long, actually. It will cause more harm than good. Gentle, easy walking every hour or so is better. Haha's got it right with the hot and cold, but always end on cold. Stretching is good, as long as you don't do it to pain. Hope you feel better soon!
