Book Hound

Yep, that is what you can call me. When I find a book that I am really into (good characters, easy to fall into), I just can't stop reading it.

Last night I read the book at the top of my August list right now, until I finished it at 3am in the morning. I think I started reading at 10pm. What was I thinking?

Of course that meant that today was off schedule from the get go but oh well,...its a disease people, nothing I can do about it.

I started the second one on the list today (but only let myself read for an hour, since I have other things on my schedule) but I think I have read it before. Ugh!!!

I hate that, now I need to put two more on hold at the library so I can pick them up when I return these ones next week...ha!

I started the 2nd one on your list but I don't think I finished it. I think I didn't like it. I am working my way through Time Traveler's Wife. Very good book. I have a handful of others on my hold list at the library but some of them I'm so far down on the list for I may never get them.

The Time Traveler's Wife is my favorite read right now. Top of the list, would highly recommend it. I read it in the fall and absolutely fell in love with it. Hoep you enjoy it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who looks up bleary eyed and confused from a book to discover it is three in the morning!!

If you haven't read "Outlander" and the sequels from Diana Gabaldon, I highly recommend them. Romance, history, time travel and really gets you immersed. My second recommendation is "Sparrow" by Mary Doria Russel. Awesome book with a really interesting concept.

OK, I'll stop now so you can get back to your books........
