Urinal Balls
We have a urinal in our bathroom that has the toilet in it. It doesn't smell or anything but it does get a little pink ring from stagnant water so I wanted to put a bleach disc in there like I do in the back of the toilet tank but I wasn't sure if I could without messing it up, so I purchased some of those little balls that sit in the urinal that are supposed (according to the pictures on the package at the 100 yen store) make it fresh....well, now the bathroom has that antiseptic bathroom smell because these little buggers are strong....don't know if I like the public restroom picture it brings to mind every time I walk by the door....

Maybe you could find some online that smell more like a candle than the antiseptic smell.
Yeah, problem is that I am kind of limited in the directions on the packages since I can really only follow the pictures. I just don't want to put something in the urinal that would ruin it since a lot of the things for toilets are meant to go in the tank or hang on the side....I am not sure if just sitting in there would be bad for the plumbing.
Antiseptic smell is better that pee pee smell in my book!
It has never smelled like pee pee...I just didn't want the little ring that gets in the bottom from standing water in there and thought perhaps the bleach tabs for the tank of the toilet would be too harsh on the plumbing straight like that....thank goodness, we have never had the peepee smell.
Maybe there is something over here that I could send to you. I will check it out. I guess I got it wrong, you use the balls for cleaning, not for odor, Duh...what do I know about urinals, never used one, although I would try if I had to...LOL
Well I think these are mostly for smell but you can't tell that from the pictures when you buy them. I never noticed any smell at our house but I am sure other urinals in public places get smelling. There doesn't seem to be the ring from standing water so perhaps they are cleaning as well. The antiseptic smell has greatly reduced over time I have noticed.
