Why is it that changing a toilet paper roll became such a hassle that we actually have to buy quadruple rolls with extenders?
Charmin's bear commercials drive me nuts and the fact that there is even a market out there for quadruple rolls is just silly.

I agree, but double rolls are really nice. The huge package of TP I just bought is regular rolls and I can't believe how often I have to change them. I won't buy an extender though. That's just ridiculous!
Before I started buying TP from recycled sources, I bought the double rolls. It seems like I can fit more in my little toilet paper cubby that way than the 'single' rolls. The extender thing is weird. Maybe that's for big families, I remember as a kid with 5 or 6 of us in the house we were always changing the roll? The bears creep me out.
I wonder, do you get an extender with every package, and if so, what do you do with all those extra extenders....seems like more of a waste to me.
I don't even do the double rolls, I like normal rolls, they fit in my holder the best. I wish I could find a recycle alternative for my paper but I think I will have to wait until we are the west coast again.
I bought automatic cat and dog feeders/waterers recently. I wonder now if I'm part of the problem or the solution. :)
