Bunko

Just got home from a fun night of Bunko....it was a Japanese theme so I wore one of my kimono jackets I got at a sale and put my hair up with one of my cool dangly sticks in it....we ate lots of Japanese food and had a blast. Our bunko hat for the evening was a rice paddy working hat...and I had three bunkos so I wore it alot.

I ended up with the floater (had bunko at the end of the night) and then got the snakes prize so I have a new tea pot with two cups and then I got a couple of other cups as well....not bad considering I usually go home with the door prizes only...haha.
We took some pics in our outfits....hopefully I will get them by email soon.

I've never played bunko, but it sounds like a lot of fun! I want to see the pictures :)

That sounds like so much fun! I think the RED HAT SOCIETY ladies play Bunco too. Good eats, good company and winner too! Yahoo!

Bunko is a dice game that involves 12 people. We pay to play and everyone goes home with a prize...it is something we do once a month and it is a lot of fun. There isn't a lot of thinking required so we can play and catch up at the same time. Our group does dinner first and then dessert half way through. Each month, someone new hosts it and gets the gifts so it is always different.

I ended up with two cool tea cups with lids and then another tea pot w/ two cups because I had the last bunko of the night as well as winning one of the other prizes....good night for me...haha.
