I heard some loud noises today...thought it was construction down the street....it wasn't. This is the view out my back window....my house owner owns the land between my brick wall and the pile of dirt but if they are building on that lot behind me, that will truly suck...especially if it is going to be apartments....grrr.______________________

You would think that they would notify you or something.
Well, it is not on my owner's land so I don't know how much they would feel obligated to let us know anything...although sometimes you'll get a notice in the mailbox if there is going to be a lot of noise.
Fortunately, upon better inspection this morning, it looks like they might just be storing dirt from another construction site done the street...let's hope so.
Sorry Friend - I'm worried about that in front of our bayview!!! Ugh!
The lot next to us has been empty for 3 years and will someday have a tall, skinny house 6 feet away from our house. One good thing about the sucky economy is they won't be building anything anytime soon!
Now the pile is so high you can't see those trees. I have not opened the window that looks out this way in days...but it does look like they are just storing the dirt there...who knows for how long though.
