Shutter Sisters for February
This was my submission for the One Word Project on Shutter Sisters (see sidebar for link). The word of the month was "Words" and I happened to come across this pamphlet at a friend's this weekend and just couldn't help myself taking pictures of it. We read some if it too and it was so amazing to see the way culture has changed.
On this photo, I used the sharpening tool, the Retinex tool, and added a border (after doing a auto correct in Office's photo viewer right off).
Can't wait to see what next month's word is going to be!!!

Week 8 MCP Project 52
This is my submission for the week. The theme was the view from here and these were the first tulips I have seen up (I suspect they were planted already up)...but I thought they were pretty, the sun was out and it felt like spring was on its way. This was of course before we got the snow we have had for the last two days...haha.
Anyhow, I wanted to play with desaturation but also wanted to keep some of the color so this was my compromise...

Week 7 MCP Project 52
This is my submission for the week. It has been a long three years since I have been in this park. It used to be an everyday occurance for me, and this last visit reminded me so much of why I love my hometown. I hope to live there again someday. The theme was Open Your Heart...and for me this town holds my heart in so many ways. I felt rejuvenated walking along the trails on that beautiful Sunday morning last week.

Week 5 MCP Project 52
This is my submission for Week 5. The word was "muse". I was late turning it in, but I posted it anyhow, just so I could feel like I completed it. This coming week is "words" so I have to think on that one a bit.
