I have to admit - I've tried in the past. Doesn't quite work as well as you'd think!
Usually, the circumstances are that I've just finished ironing something and as I put it on, I realize I've missed a spot. I'll pull that part of the item away from my body and try to run the iron over it.
Like I said, don't waste your time trying. It never really works.
You know Violet, I never even thought of people just stretching the clothes over the ironing board...when I read the statistic, I just pictured them turning the iron on themselves....haha.

People are freaks...don't they know you can get burned or worse doing that?
I don;t iron but I have heard of this.
Anything to save a minute.
I'd like to know the percentage of people who get 3rd degree burns afterwards.
This is just too funny.
Ironing? What is that? I don't understand.
