I have been trying to get in the habit of using a straw whenever I drink soda or iced tea so it doesn't stain my teeth....unfortunately, straws float in carbonated drinks...so I have to use ice or use a cup with a lid.
Does anyone know why this occurs? I know I could look it up but I am sure one of you out there already has this information stored up in your head waiting for the opportunity to put it to use....here's your opportunity.
I'm not sure of the reason for the floating, probably something to do with air trapped within the straw, but I do know (watched a program on it) that drinking through a straw will not stop the staining of your teeth.
